This is what my resident German translator said. It is only her second year of studying the language but I think I get the gist. If it translates close, then I think I know it,too.
Do you know the country where the lemons bloom, in the dark foliage the golden oranges glow, a gentler wind from the blue sky blows, the myrtle stands quietly and the laurel stands high, do you know it well?
