Great idea! I've enjoyed looking through your blog. It's always nice to find a fellow gardener. We're in the Tampa are and our garden is coming along great this year!

Hi! I live in Mass. I went to southern china this past summer and, loving fruit, had a lot of crazy, sweet, curious treats! And, loving plants, saved their seeds. But they're too tropical for me to plant up here, so, being involved with PC up here too, decided to just randomly google search for some folks in the sunny american south, who might like some tropical fruit tree seeds from southern china!

Specifically, I have mostly huang pi guo (yellow skinned fruit), named wampee here.
check it out
https://www.google.com/search?q=wampee&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a
THEY ARE AMAZING! like kumkuats.. but sweeter and barely sour. plus, a curious aromatic, clove like, sort of flavor.
ALSO... some sort of cherimoya thing, like a pawpaw combniend with a pomegranate.

Anyway, if you'd like to give them a shot, just let me know where I can mail them to you!
Also, how many do you think you could handle / distribute? I have probably a couple hundred. I am looking for other folks down there.

Keep up the good work!

I'm gardening in Orange City and have followed you for about two-three years. Really disappointed to see you have stopped sharing what is happening there. The freeze got parts of my garden but carrots, turnips, cabbage, cauliflower, bok choi,Italian spinach,Napa cabbage and what was left of the broccoli did fine. The tomatoes were fine the first night of the freeze and I covered them. So full of green fat fruit but some of them froze even covered the second night of the freeze. What to do with the frozen fruit?
Do come back Fellow gardener.
What is happening with you and the garden/ Are you traveling? Come on talk to us.Please.
