This may sound like a silly question, but is that an actual apple tree? I was told it was too warm for apples in my area, and I think I'm at least an hour north of you. We're looking at adding some fruit trees to our front yard and I'd love to have an apple tree.
there's are a few excellent apples for the deep south, mostly israeli hybrids. their quality is excellent. my trees are trellised, which helps with the fungal issues that plague these apples in fla. i would have a lot more apples this year but i lacked a mature enough pollinator.
